Graduate and advanced undergraduate HBCU students are invited to apply for this immersive, two-day research and professional development program. Participants will work collaboratively to generate innovative ideas and equitable solutions for the future of urban policy.

Students participating in this program will benefit from the following:

  • Development of quantitative and qualitative research skills relevant to graduate-level study and to careers in real estate, urban planning, public policy, and related fields
  • Graduate-level interdisciplinary academic research experience with faculty members who are leaders in their fields
  • Mentorship opportunities with industry professionals
  • Information about internships and career opportunities, advising on career paths, and guidance on graduate school applications
  • $1,000 scholarship for all participants, with the opportunity to win an additional $1,000 in Team Challenge

Focus Majors: Urban Studies, Architecture, Economics, Sociology, Public Policy, Political Science, Business, Data Science, History, or related discipline/field of study
