The Payne Center for Social Justice and Gallup release Black American Social Justice Dashboard, new tool for measuring social justice metrics

Black Thriving in America: 2024, the groundbreaking report that dives deep into Black life experiences through decades of Gallup research and recent surveys representing the voices of 40 million Black Americans. This year data shows that a narrow majority of Black Americans (52%) are thriving in their wellbeing, marginally higher than the 50% thriving among White Americans and 48% among Hispanic Americans.

This year’s report tracks change over time and the impact of age, education, gender, and geography.

This groundbreaking report, using the Gallup World Poll, reveals key insights across six vital areas: justice, economic opportunity, education, jobs and work, health and wellbeing, and community and environment.
